I have the opportunity of purchasing a five pack of this for our office. Is
"TREND MICRO PC-CILLIN INTERNET SECURITY 2006" very good at deteccting
spyware and virus?

If you're not taking proactive steps to ensure you're not inviting
malware problems into your office LAN, you've lost the battle already
and it doesn't matter which AV utility you use. OTOH, PCC is more than
adequate if you've got a handle on security.
