Trend Micro HouseCall seems to get less free to use : after
replacement of there java interface now you need tickets to
remove indected files. The first 5 tickets are free, so i
suppose further tickets will be paying. It's strange because
they allways used to be free, since many years.

What free anti-virus software you would recommand ?

For day to day protection: Avast! or AVG.

For instant cleaning: McAfee Stinger or Avast! Virus Cleaner.
