The best detail/explanation for TreeView use that I have found is in http://msdn.microsoft.com where you can search on Tree View Control (with
space between "tree" and "view"). Below is a link to an MSDN article on how
to bind data to a Tree View control
I am using Acc97 and the tree view control that you get when you pick
'Microsoft Treeview Control, version 6.0' from the 'More Controls' command
on the toolbox, does not have a Node collection nor other properties refered
to int the article at MSDN. In fact, all the controls on the 'More Controls'
list have the same generic list of properties. Is there something special
that one has to do in order to be able to use a control from this list. Why
are they there if they cannot be used. Where would I find documentation on
these controls?
Also, when you pop the custom property sheet for the treeview, and hit Help
on any one of the properties there, you get the following message: Cannot
find the 'C:\Windows\System32\cmctl198.chm' file. Do you want to find it
yourself?
Would anyone know where to find this file?
as Cheryl wrote - documentation you can find at http://msdn.microsoft.com
as for CHM file - yes, this is a problem in access 97, you have to find this
file on your PC and open it manually.
but control itself works fine in access 97
