Visum,
Alter the "Shell Small Icon Size" registry value here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics
Note that the "Shell Small Icon Size" does NOT exist by default, so you need
to create one if you want to customize the icon size in the folder pane.
This affects the icon size in Windows Explorer address bar, and may be in
other areas of the Explorer.

Wesley,
Thanks for the try, but it seems multiple items change when CAPTION BUTTON
SIZE is changed:
1. System Tray and Taskbar icons are altered as well as the taskbar itself
resizing (thicker) to accomodate the differences...
2. The actual TreeView of Windows Explorer (left panel, where the icons are
quite small) were never altered that I could see
3. Internet Explorer is also affected, and the icons with the address pane
are out of kilter
4. I saw a tweaking program like TweakXP accomplish this... but I'm
traveling for an extended time, and it seems pointless to purchase a
software package for what can be done with a couple regedits (but I think,
in this case, altering the icon metrics is probably more complex than I
thought due to the apparent 'threading' that XP does...
5. We all get beat once in a while...
