Can someone supply me with a link to documentation on the TreeView
Control? I've found two links that have code to implement loading it,
but I need additional information on the various properties and methods.

Thank you. However do you work for Microsoft because while the answer is
technically correct, it is mostly useless? I'm looking for information
on the PROPERTIES and METHODS? I'm not looking for HOW to do things
(just yet), but WHAT its capable of.

Oh, I'm sorry, I had forgotten that even the suggestion of someone
working for Microsoft is an insult. No offense intended.

Employment/non-employment by Microsoft wasn't the insult. The snotty "that's
not what I asked for" portion of your response was.

If you go back and re-read your original post, Albert's response was
perfectly adequate. The fact that you were actually looking for something
much more specific was *not* indicated in your very broadly worded original
post. AFAIK, no one on this board (Microsoft employee or not) has psychic
powers.

And if they were psychic, they probably wouldn't have bothered responding to
such a rude individual.

For the record..

"Can someone supply me with a link to documentation on the TreeView

So how was 'I NEED ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE VARIOUS PROPERTIES AND
METHODS' unclear?

I suggest you obtain a copy of this and read.

ok, just for the record:

I never said your OP was unclear. I said it was broadly worded. You were
supplied with some links to "..additional information on various properties
and methods.." (which you called useless). What you evidently desired was
more along the lines of *definitions and examples for every property and
method*.

They really are different requests. Sorry you didn't get what you were
wanted in your first response (but you did get what you asked for).

BTW, did the link that Douglas supplied get you what you want, or are you
still looking for information?

Albert,Dave, George & Douglas:
You guys are angels to even respond to his very sarcastic
and condescending remarks. As you mentioned, isn't it
strange that someone who is requesting help would insult
the people who volunteer to help him. All of you MVPs have
been extraordinarily helpful to me.

My initial remark was not intended to be an insult. If it was
misunderstand, if I just need to be a bit careful, I apologize.

I will not be commenting further on this, given that a few weeks ago
someone in another newsgroup was fighting with some others over a
specific issue (not related to me). I presonally got tired of the
multiple posts that had nothing to do with the newsgroup.

David:

I'm glad you got what you needed.

Sorry if I over reacted (if??). The various postings managed
(unintentionally, I'm sure) to press the right buttons on the wrong day.

More than happy to let this thread die. :-)

Ok I more comment...

Wouldn't it be nice if Microsoft made the information easy to find? (and
to that no further comment - nice wether isn't it)
