I've got an Access 2000 MDE system that we distribute to
hundreds of offices around the country, and it uses a
Tree View control for navigation in the main data entry
form. For a very small number of users, this tree view
control just will not open, which causes the entire
application to be non-functional. We build an
installation package with Wise Installer and Sagekey
scripts for Access 2000, distributing this with the
Access 2000 Runtime engine.
Isn't the tree view control part of comctl32.ocx? Any
suggestions about how to verify or reinstall this file to
get the tree view working? I've seen this happen on all
operating systems, from 98 through XP, some have an MS
Office version installed, some don't. Seems like in some
rare cases, the tree view just won't work. HELP!
