Well I thought I would get a couple bits for my machine as a treat :D

Here is what I have purchased:

AMD Athlon 64 4000 (Skt 939) > Upgrade from an AMD Athlon 64 3000 (Skt 939)
Hiper Type-R 580W Modular > Upgrade from an Icute 350W which came with my case.
Sony Floppy drive (Needed for Ghost floppy boot disk) > Didn't have one before.

All fitted and up and running while I was at work ;)

Reason for the upgrade?
Processor was at a good price and just wanted that little bit of extra oomph. Out of interest how much do you think I will notice?
PSU - I had no room for adding anything like an extra HD or GFX card needing it own power supply etc etc.

Really pleased with the PSU. Machine is a lot quieter than before.

Yeah I wanna upgrade my Memory and CPU but money being a little scarce at present it aint gonna happen. Remind me next time to get a TV put into the bedroom..Kids..Arrrgghhh Expense ;) lol
