hi,

what would be in your opinion the best method to place an icon in the
system tray of windows mobile 2003se ?

The standard framework "TrayIcon" object is missing.

In .NETCF v2.0 use the Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms.Notification control (The
SDF 1.4 www.opennetcf.org/sdf/ has a more limited equivalent for .NETCF
v1.0). The MSDN documentation has some sample code for using the control.
