Hi

why does the Antispyware icon show in my tray sometimes
when I boot up and sometimes not?

Is there something in setup I have missed?

Its a bug in the build, should be resolved in beta, in the mean time, you
can try logging off then logging on back or:
You can repair Windows AntiSpyware using Add or Remove Programs in Control
Panel. Click Microsoft AntiSpyware and click Change. Click Next, and then
click Update.

Actually it's not a bug with MSAS at all.

It's a long standing bug with XP.

It happens on my system to MSAS, AOL's tray icon,
Webroot's Window Washer, and even XP's own Power Options
tray icon.

The only workaround is to log off and log back on.

If I'm not mistaken, Robin Walker is the person to credit
with making this point known in these newsgroups.
