B Bill Sanderson Aug 17, 2005 #2 This is a bug. The color change happens when you use Fast User Switching, Remote Desktop, or Remote Assistance--all features based on Terminal Services. No meaning is intended by the change.

I've never managed to observe this carefully in the fast user switching situation--I see it using Remote Desktop, which I do a great deal of the time. --
