Some nice fellow who moved to Japan has offered Tray D to users who own a
Canon MP800.

Have you be able to find out the difference between tray type B and
tray type D?

I think it's thinner by .2 mm, which could be why it gets rejected but a guy
who bought the USA version and then moved to Japan bought Tray D and was
having trouble as well.

It turns out he was not lower the door before trying to print. So maybe this
is the problem all the users are having. He says his works fine now, just
have to wait to get confirmation for other users.

....

Wouldn't this be considered spam too?

Spam is the same message repeated over and over again, just as I don't
class the few messages posted here as spam, this is not spam either.
Spam is the same or similar message posted repeatedly. For example...
measkite's rants on OEM ink are spam.

Technicaly this isn't a forsale group... and while knightcrawler him
self isn't selling trays... techncialy there is cause for at least a
complaint. The defence for him would be the same for you.. you both
make a contribution and have hard to find products or know where to
find them... products that are in most cases solicited. In this
case... I posted a message asking about a message asking about tray
type C and tray type D.... and Knightcrawler decided to make a new post
on the subject of Tray type D. Technicaly he probally should have
responded to my post rather than make a new one... but that would be
splitting hairs.

So the truth is, I have no issues with either one of you. You sell
products that would be damn handy and it would be totally approperate
for you to have .signature file that reflects this and respond to those
in search of manuals or service software, just as in this case it would
have been totally approperate for Knightcrawler to respond to my post
regarding "tray type D". Just as it was approperate for me to say in
one reply that "tray type B" can be bought from canon usa and listed
the contact infomation. The only person who has issues is Measkite who
failes to site proper precident in this matter.

So judgement FredFarkle... while the term *spam* does not apply... the
same rules sited for you should apply to Knightcrawler. Good work.
