Trashed PST - Help!

Whilst using a synchronisation utility to synch a PST on 2 machines
something has gone horribly wrong. OL2K now tells me it is not a PST and/or
information services must be defined prior to use. Inbox repair seems to
effect a repair but on opening it there is nothing in any of the folders.
The file is 305Mb

Any help / ideas gratefully received. I do have a backup but it does not
contain some recent emails I need.

TIA

Jon

The file size doesn't reflect the real content of the file. You must check
the content by rightclicking the root of the file (probably Outlook Today)->
Properties-> buton Folder Size.... You should now see an overview of the
foldersizes. If these are empty tool you'll have to restore from back-up.

Are you opening the folders using the folder list or the outlook bar
shortcuts? Try view, folder list.

Thanks but I can't open the PST to examine the size of individual folders. I
can open it after repair but all folders are then empty. Is there nothing I
can do to get at the data in the damaged file?
