I want to copy a column of data in one sheet to a row of
data in another sheet and maintain the link. Excel allows
either but not both in the paste special dropodown menu
Can anyone help.
Thanks Bruce

Are you looking to create another set of data that links back to the range you just transposed; if
so then:-

Use the TRANSPOSE function:- assuming your data is say 2
columns by 5 rows, select a range that is 5 columns by 2 rows and just start
typing =transpose( ,when you get to the open bracket select the data you
are trying to transpose, put in the last bracket and then hit
CTRL-SHIFT+ENTER which will eneter it as an array formula. This will
transpose all your data and keep links to the original.
