Hi all;

I am upgrading a failing computer to a new box by un-plugging the good hard
dive from the old box and plugging it into the new box and hoping it will
boot. However, it only boots to a point then hangs. Even in safe mode. I
have tried to do a repair from the Win2K boot CD hoping that would redetect
hardware and allow for the motherboard/Video Card differences but that did
not work either. Is there such a thing as a refresh installation? I don't
want to manually reinstall the apps and move data to the new machine as I
have spent an incredible amount of time getting everything to work with
everything. Can a transplant work, and where do I go from here?

TIA

Marcus
