I had my 2 pcs formatted recently, and when I set up the big pc, I
discovered a checkbox somewhere on the computer which took the colour out
behind the Icon information on the desktop. I want to do the same thing
with the laptop - cant remember how I did it (as a lot of you will know).
Does anyone know how to make the icon information transparent?

Also how do you change the font in these emails?

Judy

Thank you thank you - I probably wouldnt have gone in there again in a 1000
years !!!

Also (as I said in the email) - how do you change the font for these
emails - I know how to do them in RTF - but not in plain text - (or if I did
do it once, I've forgotten !!)

In OE, look under Tools-options-compose for outgoing and Read for
incoming--not sure about this one.

Thanks - its so long since I had to set up the computer after reformatting,
that its hard to remember everything!

Compose does not affect plain text. For both send and read it's Tools |
Options | Read | Fonts, and each character set can have a different. In any
case, for plain text this only affects your machine, not what the reader
sees,
