G Gary Tsang Apr 9, 2004 #2 Hi, Right click your My Computer, and then go to Properties. Then click on the Advanced tab, and then click on the Performance settings button. Now make sure the checkmark box "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" has a check mark.
