Transpancy

Can someone tell me if I can change a graphic back to
traspanent?
It was when I first put it in but now it has a white
background? Can you have transpant backgrounds in
Powerpoint?
Please help as soon as possible!!!!

Click the graphic to select it. Usually that'll bring up the Picture
toolbar. Choose the transparency tool from the picture toolbar and click in
the white area of your background.
