Hello,

Can someone please tell me how to set up Microsoft Word so that it can
translate from Hebrew to English and English to Hebrew. Thanks.

Moshe

Word does not do translations. Computerised translation services (which Word
may link to) produce gibberish.

On my desktop computer I can find out the translation for individual words
both from Hebrew to English and English to Hebrew. I just bought a laptop
and would like to set up a similar feature, but I can't seem to figure out
how. It keeps offering me the option of translating from French to English
and there is no option to change to Hebrew (although there is an option to
change to other languages). Any ideas?

Do you have the Hebrew proofing tools installed?

I have tried installing the proofing tools files from the Multilingual User
Interface Pack, but either I'm not doing it properly, or it's not working.
Either way, I can't translate to and from Hebrew. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Moshe

What version of Word? I think the translation feature may have been
introduced in Word 2003.
