I'm playing with a presentation that will be used at a trade show next week.
Saving it as HTML direct out of Ppt is going to work for this one, but how
do I retain the automatic slide transitions while viewing the pres in the
browser? All I want is each page to advance after a few seconds, and I can't
seem to make it work.

John,
Are you looking at the page with the outline on the left and the slides on
the right? That one won't advance. However, if you click the show icon on
the bottom of the page it will go through the automatic advances.

An additional suggestion: Take a refresher peek at Michael's HTML primer
presentation. He does what you are describing and tells you how to do it.

There's a setting like "Show animation while browsing" in Web Options.
I think perhaps this has to be checked to get transitions 'n the like.

Or use PPT2HTML <g>

I tried that one, the animations work but not the transitions...no good for
a trade show. I need to show the notes, and I'd like to show the animations
too.

The other presentations re already converted this way. I stole somebody's
redirect code from a web page, then added that to the template, and pretty
soon I have a 'kiosk' version of the pres with notes, running in any old
browser. These have no animation though. ;-)

Ah heck, the people who go to trade shows in Orlando are so distracted I
could show any old thing and no-one would notice. Maybe I'll show my
Philmont pictures instead. :-)
