Transitions and Effects

Have XP and SP2. When I open MM 2.1, there are no transitions or effects in
my Video Transitions or Video Effects Collections. Should there have been
some (basic) ones installed or is there some place where I can download them?

Thanks for any advice.
 
Likely a problem with the installation and registering of the DLL's.
