Hi, after making about 15 coasters I've had my fill. I'm transferring HI8
video thru Dazzle DVC80 and trying to burn a DVD+ disc using my TSST CD/DVDW
drive and WinDVD Creator. When I preveiw the file it plays fine with good
audio, but when I burn the disc the audio is slightly distorted. I tried
various settings but to no avail. Is it the settings or the wrong discs? I'd
really appreciate the help, tx John

John, this morning I tried several different methodsb mentioned in that
article. I closed all other programs. I bought better dvd discs. I bought a
audio adapter that connects directly into my microphone input on the laptop
but when I burn the disc it still is the same distortion. The is a HP media
stlye laptop and was made for this type of editing I believe. I just cannot
figure out why the preveiw is good but the burned final product is bad. Just
to verify when they say to go directly into the sound card that would be an
adapted thru the mic jack right? Thanks so much, John

Folks, I have the same problem with movie maker. If you go on-line you will
find countless other people experiencing similar problems. There is
definitely something fundamentally wrong with the Movie Maker program. No
third party application or different discs or other support seems to help.
This is extremely frustrating. I recently downloaded Media Player 11 becasue
our company's tech support guy said that might be the difficulty in behind
the scenes. No luck. I am very disappointed with Windows and Microsoft. No
question that Apple is still king in video editing-Windows PC won't even run
properly!
