I have bought a new PC and want to transfer all of my Outlook content from my old PC to my new one. How can I do this, please? My old PC is running Office 2000 but I am not sure if I will install Office 2000 or 2003 on the new one.

All of the information in your Personal Folder Set is compressed into one physical file. The name and location of that file varies with Operating system. If you search your old machine for files with an extenison of *.PST (be sure to include hidden files), you can save them to a separate folder and copy that folder to your new machine.

When you set up Outlook on your new machine, you can use the "File>Open>Outlook data file" to attach your old files and use them as the default.

There are other settings that can be transferred with varying degrees of success. See http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm#fileloc for details.
