I'm not sure which newsgroup to ask, so here goes...
I am trying to move my current and saved messages from my
old PC to my new one. The new PC is a Compaq Presario
2500 with XP, the old one is an old PC with 98 SE. I have
networked the two together and successfully copied over
my old files and old outlook addressbook via the shared
folder. I tried to get the old messages by bringing the
message folders (old PC) to the shared folder, then
copying them into the folder that has the outlook message
folders on the new PC. I copied them sucessfully, however
the new outlook inbox does not see them. Any suggestions
on the best way to get my lod messages onto my new PC?

Thanks Dave for your reply. I tried that and got to my
shared file where the .dbx files were stored and I got
the response that "No messges can be found in this folder
or another application is running that has the required
files opened." Any suggestions?

Can you tell me exactly where all the files are.
