I have entered all of my contacts into Outlook2000 on my laptop. Now, I want
to move them to my desktop computer. From the past discussion questions, I
guess I need to copy the file to a flash drive. How? Where do I find the
file on the laptop and how do I copy it?

Default location and name:
C:\Documents and Settings\{Your User Name here}\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst

and how do I copy it?

Just like any other file....but ensure that Outlook is closed first.

Well, thanks, but that didn't answer my question. I don't know how to copy the file! Let's get real basic here, please.

I'm sorry? You want to transfer Outlook data from one machine o another and
YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO COPY A FILE?

then I suggest you get a computer professional to do what you want......
