Transferring Old Inbox

When I recently purchased a new PC, I wanted to transfer the e-mails in Outlook Express in my old computer to a folder in Outlook 2003 in my new computer. So I made a copy of the file, inbox.dbx, renamed it oldinbox.dbx, and copied it to a CD disk. My plan is to copy this file to the appropriate directory under Outlook 2003 in my new PC. I am using Windows XP Professional as the operating system. Unfortunately, I have not had any success locating this directory for Outlook 2003. Earlier today, I spent more than half an hour on the phone with the Dell software support help desk and the representative was unable to offer any solution. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,

JH

Outlook and Outlook Express do not use the same file/folder structure since
they're really completely different programs with unfortunately similar
names. What you'll need to do is to first import your old OE data into OE
on the new PC and then export it into Outlook 2003 on that machine. If you
need help with the OE data, http://insideOE.tomsterdam.com will help you
figure it out.
