I am having difficulties sending movies back to my
digital video camera - the recent Cannon MVX10i. Having
edited the movie easily with Movie maker 2 when I attempt
to send the movie back to tape there are very frequent
skips in the movie. These last up to one second but
occur probably every 6 seconds. My computer has 512mb
ram.

Sounds like a hard drive situation.... tune it up just before exporting by
freeing up space and doing a defrag.... turn off other running apps. Save it
to your hard drive first as a DV-AVI file and use the WinDV utility (link on
my Digital Camcorders > Intro page) to copy it to the camcorder.

Hi there,

Check out the Hard Drive Tutorial on my website. Its arranged so that you
can read it like a book or jump to specific pages using the navigation
tools.

Check your editing speed versus the camera's speed.
Usually this is the problem. You can change the speed in
MM
