Transferring files from VAX to W2K Professional

In my job I´m trying transfer files from VAX to W2K Professional , but when I
issue:
$ FTP smw2k335
I get the message:
%FTP-E-NETERR, I/O error on network device
-SYSTEM-F-REJECT, connect to network object rejected

When I issue FTP from W2K to VAX, connection is established, like this:

ftp VAX1

connected to VAX1
220 VAX1 FTP server (version 3.3) ready.
User (VAX1(none)):


What could I make to transfer files from VAX to my W2K server?

FTP should work, I would doublecheck your ftp server software on your w2k server to make sure it is functioning properly
and configured correctly. Can you ftp to it from the w2k server itself or from another windows machine? That would be a
start to the troubleshooting.

I use WS FTP make by ISPSWITCH to transfer files betweem my Alpha (VMS 7.3)
and PC (Win 2000).

I use the IP address of alpha to access the Alpha.
