You'll need to bring over the .wab file from your old
computer... floppy, network it over, CD, whatever. Put
it in your c:\program files\outlook express folder.
Open Outlook express on the new machine and go through
the startup routine. Don't select it as the default,
just cancel out of all the screens that try to make those
settings. Finally, it will locate the .wab file you
moved over and "install" it.
Then close out of Express and open Outlook. Click
File/import and export.
Click Import Internet Mail Addresses
Highlight Outlook Express x.x and CHECK ONLY Import
Address Book
If you have already put addresses in the new Outlook
address book, you might choose not to duplicate.
Hit Next and you should be there.
Now if you find out how to get the messages moved over,
I'd be much abliged.
