transferring DNS Srv

Im in the process of upgrading hardware on one of my DC
and this box is also housing DNS. Basically I need to
transfer the DNS srv to the new box. Whats the best
pratice in a situation like this, and what error if any
should I expect?

Easily you can create a secondary zone on the other box, let the transfer
happen, then point all your clients to the new box, then make the zone a
primary.

Is this new box going to be a DC?
If it is run DCPROMO on it and let DCPROMO install DNS, if your other DC has
AD integrated zones, you don't have to do anything, all zone data will be
replicated to the new DC.
