Transferring 'Distribution Lists' from Outlook Express 6 to Outlook???

I have an old computer running Windows Millenium and Outlook Express 6. I have created numerous contacts and 'distribution lists' in my Contacts folder in Outlook Express. I just got a new laptop running Windows XP Home Edition. I want to use Outlook (not Outlook Express) on this new laptop. However, when I exported the contacts from Outlook Express 6 from the old computer and then imported them into Outlook (running in M/S Office 11 Suite) only the contacts transferred over and the 'Distribution Lists' did not

How do I transfer the 'Distribution Lists' from my Outlook Express 6 to my M/S Office 11/Outlook contacts folder?
 
OE does not use and does not support Distribution Lists. It only uses groups
in the WAB. You cannot transfer them.
