transferring data

i have downloaded a lot of songs onto my pc. how do i transfer the entire
file to my laptop. is it a usb to usb connection between the 2

There are many ways to do this. The best and cheapest is probably
copy the files to a CD-R, that way in case either or both PCs crash you'll
have the disks as backup. But.............
USB Memory stick
Crossover Ethernet cable
Serial cable (RS232) - (direct cable connection)
