I am creating a database that allows a person to create and customize a new
database
according to how they want it. So the database I create should be able to
allow someone to click on a "new" button which then takes the user through a
series of steps that sets up a new customized database to use. I'm fairly
new to access so can someone tell me how I can create my database so when
someone wants to create a new database and goes through the setup process,
that the tables and information entered during this process will be saved
into the new database created? The database that I create will not have any
information stored in it because the user who customizes and makes their own
database will import or enter in the data that they specifically want for
their database.

Thanks for any input you have!

Are you just new to Access, or new also to relational database design, SQL
and VBA? To do what you describe you'll need to become familiar with all
four, and it's a lot easier to help you if we know where you're starting
from.

If you are a "newbie" this is going to be way above your head. I've worked on
Access since version 1 and I would not attempt it. But then that's just me.

I can be done. As a matter of fact, you can see it being done. Open up
Access with no database. Go to New and look at the Templates. Select one of
them and you can see how MS does it. How they do it? I don't know.
