You should be able to put the .pst anywhere you can
remember. Then on the import option chose import from a
file. In the next option you can choose .pst as the file
type and either at the top of that window or in the next
one you can then browse to where you put the .pst. Also
be sure to import it under the top folder in the list.
That will put it back in the same relative order you had
it in before.

Hope that helps.

Do NOT import the file. Use File->Open. If you import the file, you will
lose important data such as the reeceived date. You will also lose custom
forms, connections to the journal, etc. Importing is a bad idea all around.

|| Have found .pst files on old machine in location that OL
|| help suggests for win95. But where do the .pst files
|| live in XP? Despite having a couple of messages and an
|| address on the new PC, searching entire C drive for *.pst
|| finds nothing.
|| Also, on old PC C drive there's no .pab which I thought
|| was the address book files.
|| Previous posters say just copy the .pst to the new
|| machine - but don't say where to put it!
|| When I tried the import export method it asked me for
|| things I didn't know how to answer ...
|| Help would be much appreciated.
