transfering

I migrated to a new, larger drive on the same box, and transferred my
backup.pst files into Outlook successfully. All contacts are there and
available, but when I go to type a new e-mail and hit 'to' - it says my
contact files are empty. So I can open them individually and send from the
"card", but can't figure out how to see them in the normal way.
