I have made a change (at last) to a different webhost.
How do I change ? Confused !
What settings do I change and how do I do it ?
Looking forward to your replys

Publish in FP from 1 server to the other, or from your local to the new server
See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=264777

After you transfer the site you will have to Publish ALL from / to your local or server to the other to get them in sync

PS
Please don't cross post (microsoft.public.frontpage is an obsolete unsupported newsgroup)

3 footer navigation now sometimes in the header

Should I re upload everything ?

In FP, File Publish from the good one to the bad one

How do I do that ?....using FP 2002
Still confused.

Your new provider has instructions on how to do the transfer and change the
pointers. You may also have to get your current provider envolved. Your site
can be down for a few days when doing the transfer.

Thanks for the replies
In the end I deleted everything off the server(which wasnt such a good
idea...ie cgi bin and ecommerce. Then re uploaded everything...it worked.!

However I received a message
This server could not complete my request
Contact my internet provider
Make sure my provider has extensions....etc

then when I press details button .
this messege

302 Moved Temporarily
Moved Temporarily You are being redirected to a new location because:
The client request was forwarded directly to the origin server. No action is
required. (BYPASSED_URL)

So what should I do ? Do I need to change any of my settings in publish
(FP2002)

Not necessarily, because it sounds like the new provider you selected doesn't
support FP2002. Check with them.

Thanks Tom
Its interesting
provider A has relationship with B

provider A has a unix server and has limited extensions.
So they recomend I move my account up to provider B.
who I have been told has the extensions ! at a higher cost.
So far not very happy with the service and the runaround.
I admitantly deleted the file for the ecommerce off my site.
and asked for it to be replaced ...they said it would be early next week
before it can be replaced....I asked why ...as you offer a 24 hr service.

It leaves me thinking....can any one else recommend a webhost which offers a
service with ecommerce for a small shop....for a reasonable price per month.

you ain't gonna believe this go to http://www.ipowerweb.com website
hosting with "all the extras" included for one price. $7.95 per month
when you pay by the year. That's right!!! Just $95.40 per year.

Just the type of site you would want for ecommerce - BUSY - 30 sec time out!!
