Transfering video off computer

I've got music videos I edited in Windows Movie Maker and I want to transfer them to play (or at least be seen) on the TV. I tried using SVideo and Audio cable connections, but don't know if I have to configure anything, since nothing works. Either that, or do I spend the money and download an update to my CD burner, allowing me to burn DVD's and hope that by burning my Windows Media files onto a DVD disc, it will play in the DVD player.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

You must use a video card with dual (computer and tv) output, since
the signal to a TV needs to be ANALOG, not digital

Even with a dual port video card, you must have the software set up
to send the signal out the analog port

Or, if you have a dedicated video capture card (not firewire!) with
analog out, you may be able to "play" your video in Movie Maker and
have the signal go out the analog port to your TV (I use a Dv500 and
Premiere for analog in/out, so have no idea how you would set Movie
Maker to output to analog)

There is no such thing as software which will allow you to burn a
DVD in a CD writer... different laser beam frequencey

You MAY burn a Video CD, read here http://www.dvdrhelp.com
