You can't. Your XP installation has the hardware profile of your old
computer. You can install the hard disk into your new computer, but then
you'll need to do a repair install of XP. OTOH, if your original
installation of XP was OEM-supplied, you may not be able to use your XP CD
on another computer. Also, if your original installation of XP was
OEM-supplied, Microsoft won't activate it.

I have an old hp pc with xp installed...i tried to install it into a
newer pc, but i'm getting a message that says NTLDR not loaded...how
can i install this old hard drive without reinstalling XP? please help.
