transfering Hard drive

I tried to change my old hard drive with WINDOWS XP from my old computer, but the only message I get is "NTLDR missing" press any key to restart, this happens constantly and never gets to windows. Tried to install another hard drive with WINDOWS ME and I have no problems booting up.

You might say why don't you run WINME?. I need to run XP with this motherboard because of the AMD 2000+ that I purchased.

CAN YOU HELP?

Use the Windows XP CD that you have (you DO have it - right) and do a repair
install of Windows XP after you move the hard drive to the new computer.

motherboard because of the AMD 2000+ that I purchased.
