Transfering files from win98 to winXP

I have been copying win 98 files like Addr.Book and
Favorites list, to flopy disk. when trying to open flopy
in win XP computer it does not find any thing.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is there different way to
do mentioned fil transfer?
Pleas help me.

Not knowing what sort of configuration you have......I would suggest, if
possible, taking your Win98 hard drive, strapping it as a slave and copying
the files and folders that way.

"Does not find anything" in what way? If XP is not recognizing the disks or
their contents, try formatting the floppies on the XP machine. Then take it
to the Win98 machine and copy your files to the floppy.
