Hy

We have a win2k server running a rather large DNS with lotsa zones. Now we have a secondairy DNS on another server, new. Now the question is, is there a way to export all the zones at once and not one by one? Cause that will be a hell of a timeconsuming job

If anyone has any idea or solution to get or zones transfered fast I am listening

You could try scripting it using DNSCMD (in Windows Support Tools).

Or a 3rd party tool such as (not sure if it supports this feature):
Simple DNS Plus - Migrating Zone data from another DNS:
http://www.jhsoft.com/tutor/migrate.htm

Or you can also try Dean Wells, MVP's DNS Dump (not sure if he put in
support to change the zone type):

Dean Wells' DNSDump:
http://www.reskit.net/DNS/dnsdump.cm_
(note: there's an underscore at the end of that link)
