I am a poet, and I am trying to send the MS Word document to my hotmail inbox
with an attachment so I can share it with others. Every time I try to do
this, it doesn't send. I am using the same email address and password that I
use for hotmail, so I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. If I had a
printer, I wouldn't need to ask this question, ha. This may seem like a
simple thing to do, but I am completely new to MS Word, and haven't worked
out all of the kinks. If anyone can help, please reply! Thanks!

First tip: NEVER post your unadulterated email address in a Newsgroup.
Spammers have software that spends 24 hours a day monitoring newsgroup
messages looking for email addresses which it then adds to its database.
That database is then sold on to legitimate and illegitimate spammers. You
can still post your address but spoilt it so that the software doesn't
recognize it as an email address. Use something like
kali_19625atcoldmaildotcom which most intelligent users can decipher but the
software cannot.

You cannot post a Word document without use of an email account. First save
the document to your local HDD. If you only have the Hotmail account, then
you need to open Hotmail, create a new email and then ATTACH the document to
the email and send it (to yourself if necessary).

If you have a mail account set up in Outlook or Outlook Express, then you
can use Send To, Mail Recipient directly from Word.

Nor should one ever replay and leave it unmunged. ;-)

Also very true. OTOH, my email address is real and I don't really care
because it's a throw away address that I only ever open to keep it active!

Mine is mildly munged mostly because I get enough crap sent to that address.
My "real" addy will not appear in the public newsgroups tho.
