I burnt photos onto a disk with HP 98 2nd ed and tried to use them in a new
computer with XP and using an AMD Athlon 64 and all I get is a blank page.

You burned the files using what software? 98 has no native CD burning
capability.

To Raymond Johnson Jr. : I bought a Hewlett Packard Pavillion 7050. It came
loaded with Windows 98 second edition. It had two disk drives on it, one of
which would burn my photo files on to a disk. I could retrieve them, edit
them, print them, all was well. Now they won't go into my new computer loaded
with XP. I have no idea what software was used.

Sorry about the fact that you had problem downloading this. When you copied
to CD with WP 95 or 98 you used some software to do this. Probably Adaptec,
now Roxio. Downloading the UDF reader should work. If not, download the
latest version of Roxio (it has to be higher than the 5.3 version) to work
on XP. Roxio is now at version 7, but it is not free to get it.
load, it said down load in progress. Nothing further happened for 5 minutes
for a 1min 21 sec estimated time for the down load. So I clicked the 'if it
doessn't start, click here' and got a lot of Roxio options that assumed that
I ownd some Roxio soft ware which I do not. Went back to the begining and
tried again. Same thing. Download in progress, waited over five minutes and
nothing happened. Can you provide some more clues ? Thank you for your
reply.
