I have Outlook 2003. I used to be able to click on a task and move it over to
a new date on the calendar and it would change the due date on the task to
that day. How do I do that in Outlook 2003. I'd like to be able to see my
tasks and a calendar on the same page.

Any help would be much appreciated.

To change the Due Date of a Task, open it and use the Due Date field to set
a new date. You can wipe a date range in the drop down calendar window of
the Due Date field.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Is there a way to change a bunch of tasks to a new due date at once? I was
hoping NOT to have to do them one at a time.

Sure there is a way but that's not what you originally asked about.

In the Tasks folder, group by Due Date. Then open and change the Due date
of 1 Task so that you get a destination group. Drag a whole bunch of Tasks
at once to the destination Due Date Group. You can select more than one
Task with Ctrl Click or Shift Click.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Judy, thanks for responding. I have tried this but only get a circle with a
line thru it when I try to move some tasks to a new date. Here is what I
did. Went to View / Arrange By / Show in Groups / highlighted 2 tasks and
tried to move to another due date. That is where I get the circle with a line
thru it. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your patience with me.

It works for me on 2003 and 2007 - have a practice moving a single Task.
Where you let go is crucial I think the circle with line means you are
dropping it on the heading not into the group. You need to drop it into an
existing group. You could also practice it with another grouping like
Priority and drag a Task from High to Normal.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
