transfer of address book

I am using the file transfer option of windows xp to move
files from windows 98 on my old computer to my new. All
files are being successfully moved except for my address
book. I have searched for it using *.wab and found it and
loaded it and thought I moved it but it does not show up
when I load it on my new computer. Where is it and how to
I get it recognized? Thank you!!
 
In XP the address book is located in Documents and
settings\username\application data\microsoft\address book.

On the Win98 computer, Open OE and export the Address book. Bring the
exported file over to the WinXP computer. Open OE again and import the
transferred file.

A tool that I found to be indispensable when using OE was OEBackup. Info

PS: To find the location of your OE data files, click on Tools>
Maintenance> Store Folders.
