Please don't start a new thread each time you post.
Different BIOSs have different settings. On some of mine
I can set all sorts of things for the hard disk controller.
If you have looked carefully and cannot find it then
perhaps there is no such setting on your PC. In this
case you may want to repost your original question,
because it is now detached from this thread.
