I have just purchased new computer with XP. I have read the article on
F.A.S.T. by Gary Woodruff and I understand it. I need to transfer my email
files from Windows 2000 (I have 2 million kb. I have not downloaded any
email into Outlook XP but I have set up my account.

My question is whether when I use the Wizard to transfer the email files to
Outlook XP, will the new emails merge with these emails from Windows 2000
when I download my new emails or does something else need to be done?

Julia

Yes, they'll merge. For best results, use OE to export messages to Outlook
and use Outlook to import addresses from OE (use OE to transfer messages and
Outlook to transfer addresses; OE's message export works better than
Outlook's message import while Outlook's address import works better than
OE's address export).
