Transfer data from Word to Works

Is it possible to transfer data that is in a word
document to a works database or spreadsheet?
 
Yes, it is, but before advising I need to know how the
data appears in Word - for instance is it in tabbed
columns or what?

If you wish you could email me direct with a specimen .doc
attached and a note about what you wish to export.
