If you are having trouble transferring from your old Outlook Express address
Book, convert the old files to CSV files and save on a CD or portable hard
drive. Save to the new computer. They will save in an XL type format.
Then pull up the contact folder in MS Mail and request it to import CSV
files from the XL folder you saved.
It took me several hours to figure this out. I probably could have retyped
all my addresses by now. However, the solution is worth the effort! All my
addresses are here and this old mind is still working well!

How do I convert the files to CSV? I am anything BUT savvy with this type of
thing... can you tell me how to do this... and pretend I'm five when you're
explaining it? ;) I appreciate your comment here, and hope you can help me
out.

Thanks so much, Yvonne.

In Outlook Express open the Address Book.
In the Address Book click File | Export | Other Address Book and choose Text
(Comma Separated Files).
