transcoding and MyDVD

I have made a movie in MM2 and then saved it in the AV-DVI format to my hard drive. I import the movie into MyDVD and click the burn button and it starts transcoding. Here is where my problem occurs: it always hang about 15 minutes into the transcoding and never moves. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
