hi Fred. Did you give it a try? I just did. I know the best way is to use the
insert procedure, but PPT lets you choose different ways to accomplish your job
(you might want to look at PowerPoint's Insert Object thingy and see how many
types of things you could do).
What I just did just now is.
Open Word
Type and format the text you want.
Insert Picture from file
Select All
Edit Copy
In PPT
Edit Paste Special
Choose HTML format
It comes into PowerPoint all formatted
(large colored title) (text same small size (10pt) as in Word)
The text comes in a text box (without borders), but is not wrapped. Text is
completely editable, and if you squeeze the side handles of the text box, the
text will wrap where you want it.
The picture came in as its own piece.
Just rearrange everything the way you want it.
